Frequently Asked Question's (FAQ’s)
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is running a study at Carseldine Village looking into how the home, everyday appliances, and renewable energy technologies impact household energy bills.
The QUT researchers will have access to the survey data, electricity data provided, and specific dwelling data. This is required for QUT to do analysis of the links between the building, appliances, and occupants, for example.
However, in all reporting, please note the data/information will be de-identified (meaning QUT will not report on the specific energy use and details of a specific household in a specific street address).
You will receive a $50 gift card for your participation in online surveys (approximately 10 mins each, two surveys her household)
Up to 24 months.
Householders are free to discontinue their participation at any time, however any information collected prior to withdrawal will be retained for research purposes.
