Pedestrian / cycle bridge – now open

Davbridge Constructions are now complete on the $1 million pedestrian and cycle bridge across Cabbage Tree Creek, linking Carseldine Village with Aspley State High School, providing a safe, active travel path for school children to cycle and walk to school.

Lighting on the bridge, and along a new section of path which connects with the existing pathway on the north side of Cabbage Tree Creek, will be powered by a Solar PV / Battery Storage system which enables lighting at nil cost.
