    • Contact information for local schools, childcare centres, community organisations, and emergency services in your community
    • How you and your community can prepare for disaster events and access emergency services and support
    • Information on the innovative and sustainable features that have been packed into not just your new home, but the very fabric of the Carseldine Village community

Carseldine Village Living Lab Research Project run by Queensland University of Technology (QUT)

QUT and University of New South Wales (UNSW), in partnership with national renewable energy and sustainable homes research centre RACE2030, are running a study at Carseldine Village looking into how home and renewable energy technologies impact energy bills and comfort – and are looking for homeowners within Stage 1 at Carseldine Village to participate.

WHY JOIN THE LIVING LAB RESEARCH PROJECT?

By joining the Carseldine Village Living Lab research project, you will be talking with experts to help you better understand your solar set up and electricity bills.
This will allow you to see the benefits of the features found in your new home at the village.
Your participation will also help shape the future of homes, appliance usage and renewable energy technologies.

OTHER BENEFITS:

    • IT DOESN’T COST YOU ANYTHING – participation is free
    • GIFT CARD – you will receive a $50 gift card for your participation (two surveys per household, approximately 10 mins each)
    • TAILORED INFORMATION – as part of the benefits package, the QUT School of Architecture and Built Environment is offering a personalised evaluation on your 12 months of electricity use, informing you of the most suitable and cost-efficient use, saving you money over time
