Stage 1 works complete

During May, the Carseldine Village project team ticked off a few big milestones. The project is coming to life with roads and slabs complete, and cranes and frames going up. Our milestones included:

• Stage 1 works now complete.
• Stage 1 terrace homes are now under construction.
• The new entry road into Carseldine Village – called Plaza Place is open.
•  The three intersection upgrades to Beams and Dorville Roads are now complete.
• Rockpool Residential Aged Care is now under construction.

With Stage 1 terrace homes currently being built and due for completion end of 2021, our builders Vantage Homes QLD and Thompson Sustainable Homes are working hard to ensure minimal delays to building programs. The delays are a result of sourcing building materials from both local and overseas sources due to COVID-19 as well as the unexpected uptake of the HomeBuilder grant, causing significant pressure on the availability of labour and materials across the entire building sector and supply chain.
