Carseldine Village is one of Queensland’s first residential developments to deliver 100% net zero energy emission terrace homes. These freehold terrace homes are sustainable and thoughtfully designed to be cool in summer and warm in winter, using minimal energy saving money in the long run.

EVERY TERRACE HOME FEATURES:

The Green features smart lighting as well as smart access to the sporting fields and is a showcase of sustainable technologies.

THE GREEN FEATURES:

  • Highly efficient LED lighting in the 14 floodlit towers assists to lower greenhouse gas emissions and power bills
  • Smart booking and smart lighting via the BrightSport app and integrated eSwitch technology that coordinates floodlighting to each sporting field booking –and allows hirers to use their smartphone as a key to the court. These features assist to reduce emissions and power bills by ensuring lights are only switched on while courts are in use, and
  • Smart irrigation that saves 30% of water usage by monitoring local weather information and evaporation from the soil surface. The system automatically adjusts the watering schedule to use only the water required and not a drop more.

This innovative technology assists to help save on energy and water bills while significantly reducing the carbon footprint as well.
